The City of Banja Luka has announced the international open call for the architectural and urbanistic design of the new bridge over the Vrbas at the Kastel Fortress. The design is expected to produce one of the new symbols of the city.
The Foundation Banja Luka 2024 has provided a significant contribution to the preparation and the implementation of this competition. The members of our Team have produced the concept of the competition brief, formulated the design requirements, and will take part in the selection process. The competition programme itself is tightly connected to the cultural and artistic content of the Banja Luka 2024 project, and the riverbanks, the fortress and the future bridge will constitute one of the main focal points of Banja Luka as the potential European capital of culture.
